 | On Tuesday, June 9th the NIH R&W will be hosting its annual Camp Fantastic “BBQ”, an event we’ve hosted at NIH for nearly 40 years. The Camp Fantastic BBQ is from 11am – 2pm along with the Community Market which begin at 10am. Proceeds from the Camp Fantastic BBQ will send children with cancer to Special Love’s Camp Fantastic, a camp for kids with cancer who get to be “normal” for a week. Last year’s BBQ we had approximately 1500 NIH employees and we hope to eclipse those numbers this year. This year we’re expanding beyond just BBQ as we’ll also will have Seafood and Caribbean options since June is Caribbean American Heritage Month. In addition to the food we’ll host a sponsor fair, silent auction, a Farmers Market, live music and NIH’s Annual Safety, Health and Wellness Day.
